Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
A compassionate nonprofit organization that provides resources for at-risk families is searching for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their human resources department in a contract position! This is a fully remote position that is based out of Los Angeles, CA, so candidates must live near LA to go into the office on Tuesday, once per month. The role involves frequent interactions with internal teams and focuses on recruiting for various positions, including therapists, counselors, and case managers. Salary Range: $24 - $25 / hour DOE
Talent Acquisition Specialist Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in talent acquisition
- Proficiency in Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruitment platforms
- Ability to manage multiple searches and hire for multi-level positions
- Strong experience in working remotely
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel
- Preferred experience in Boolean searches
- Bachelor s degree preferred
- Behavioral health hiring experience and non-profit sector experience are significant pluses
- Must live in or near Los Angeles, CA to visit the office once per month
Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth phone screenings and present top talent to hiring managers
- Control the offer process, from initial contact to finalizing employment terms
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in the recruitment process
- Manage the recruitment for about 15 positions at a time, with a focus on behavioral health roles
- Engage in active communication with internal hiring managers and applicants
- Handle additional marketing and administrative support as needed
