Job Description

Boutique Recruiting has partnered with a prestigious financial services firm in Los Angeles, CA, to find a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accounting Associate! This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with at least 2 years of accounting experience, including supervisory or lead experience, who are eager to advance their careers in a high-profile, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, preparing insightful management reports, and supporting business managers and accountants who cater to elite clients in the music, entertainment, and sports industries. Salary Range: $90,000 - $112,000 / year DOE

Senior Accounting Associate Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role
  • CPA certification is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online is ideal, though not required
  • Must be detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
  • Experience in the music, entertainment, or sports industries is a plus, but not required

Senior Accounting Associate Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day financial operations, including accounting journal entries, financial statement preparation, and budget planning
  • Analyze financial information and provide insights for management reporting
  • Collaborate with the support team, including accounts payable, to ensure the integrity of financial transactions
  • Manage some treasury operations and assist with the planning process
  • Work with a portfolio of clients, which may range in size, effectively managing their financial needs
  • Maintain a strong understanding of GAAP and apply it to all accounting functions
  • Participate in the monthly and annual financial closing processes
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting processes
