Job Description
A superyacht company is searching for a Luxury Memberships Chief Operating Officer to lead and revolutionize the superyacht industry. With a primary focus on overseeing a fleet of eco-friendly, luxury superyachts and managing a diverse team, this role demands a strategic visionary with over 10 years of experience in the high-end luxury market. Participation in prestigious boat shows and industry events is key, alongside developing and implementing innovative sales strategies so while the position is based out of West Palm Beach, FL, you will be traveling to several prestigious international events throughout the year. This position offers immense growth potential and as COO, you’ll enjoy a lucrative salary with substantial bonuses, stock options, global travel and the chance to shape a pioneering startup in the luxury yacht industry!
Pay Range: $175,000 - $200,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Lead the operations of a premier fleet of luxury superyachts, each with a dedicated crew of 12-20
- Direct business operations with a focus on innovative marketing and strategic membership sales
- Collaborate with the Chief Maritime Director for seamless operational coordination
- Create and drive marketing and sales initiatives in partnership with the Chief Development Officer and CEO
- Represent the company at prestigious boat shows and industry events globally
- Develop and optimize operational processes for enhanced efficiency
- Handle diverse roles including office management, nurturing client relationships, and spearheading business development efforts
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in the luxury sector, ideally in superyachts or private jets
- Proficient in operations management, sales, and marketing
- Skilled in engaging and understanding the needs of ultra-high-net-worth clients
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a vision for innovation in the luxury space
- Bachelor's degree is essential; a Master's degree is highly desirable
- Exceptional presentation skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure, luxury environments
- Valuable experience with European luxury brands
- Willingness to embrace extensive travel and long hours, particularly during key industry events
