A leading manufacturer of fuel testing equipment in Pewaukee, WI, is seeking a proactive and experienced Global Service Operations Manager to lead a team of 20 service technicians across the world! They are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience managing teams of technical support specialists, with a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset who are ready to build out this role and be the go-to expert for technical service operations. Global Service Operations Manager Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience managing teams of technical support specialists and field service operations on a global level
  • Extensive global management experience with the ability to oversee teams in multiple time zones and cultures
  • Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience with 10+ years in a similar role)
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems (Epicore) and CRM systems (Job Dynamics) is a plus, though training will be provided

Global Service Operations Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a global team of 20 service technicians across multiple time zones and countries
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the efficiency of service operations
  • Travel extensively at the start to meet technicians, understand regional challenges, and build rapport
  • Oversee and ensure the successful completion of service calls and technical support activities
  • Manage escalations and jump in when complex issues arise
  • Maintain a close track of technician locations and service schedules
  • Collaborate with the President and other senior leaders to drive continuous improvement in service delivery
