Concrete Superintendent
Job Description
A prominent construction firm in San Diego, CA is seeking a Concrete Superintendent to join their team! They are looking for someone with a strong background in structural concrete work who is experienced in managing and supervising large crews across multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal person for this role has a strong technical background, expertise in concrete placement and finishing, and the ability to mentor and develop high-performing team members. The position comes with a great salary, family benefits, profit sharing, a company card, and other valuable perks!
Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 / year DOE
Concrete Superintendent Requirements:
- 5+ years experience with large concrete projects
- Proven ability to manage crews and oversee complex operations
- Technical expertise in concrete placement and finishing, including trowel machine knowledge
- Experience in the field, with a strong hands-on background
- ACI Flatwork Certification strongly is preferred
- Experience in both union and nonunion environments is preferred
Concrete Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Supervise and delegate tasks for concrete place and finish operations
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with crew sizes ranging from 10-30 people
- Ensure quality control and schedule adherence
- Identify and develop high-performing team members
- Oversee operations for projects varying in size, including large-scale developments
