Civil Litigation Attorney
Job Description
A growing legal firm in San Diego, CA is seeking a highly skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team! The firm is looking for candidates with 5-8 years of civil litigation experience, preferably with plaintiff-side experience, to manage a diverse caseload of consumer protection and business-related disputes. Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 / year DOE
Civil Litigation Attorney Requirements:
- 5-8 years of civil litigation experience in Personal Injury, Employment Law, etc.
- Trial or heavy court experience is required
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited university
- Plaintiff litigation experience is preferred
- Must be barred in the state of California
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail are imperative
- Team-oriented and open to learning with a hardworking and persevering attitude
Civil Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Handle all phases of litigation for consumer protection and business-related cases, overseeing them from start to finish
- Take charge of drafting complaints and filing them with the appropriate courts
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys for case strategy
- Develop and execute case plans, ensuring effective implementation and progress
- Conduct discovery, arbitrations, depositions, and law motions
