We are in search of an energetic, ambitious, and business-savvy Business Development Manager to identify and develop new business opportunities to continue driving our growth! We are looking for a polished, articulate, and strategic professional with strong integrity and exceptional follow-up skills. Someone sharp and solutions-oriented with excellent communication and negotiation skills. This is a fully remote position based out of Chicago, IL, where you will have the support of an all-star, industry-leading recruitment team.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,0000 / year DOE

Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential clients and business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and other channels
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing customized recruitment solutions
  • Collaborate with clients to negotiate recruitment agreement terms, and prepare proposals and presentations
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, offering insights and recommendations
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the smooth delivery of services and enhance client satisfaction
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and provide regular reports and forecasts
  • Represent Boutique Recruiting at industry events, conferences, and networking functions with monthly travel often required

Requirements (MUST HAVES):

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field is preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience in Business Development or sales, preferably in the recruitment industry or similar field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing time sensitive deadlines
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, both in speaking and writing
  • Strategic thinking skills, with a knack for identifying growth opportunities and devising effective sales strategies
  • A results-oriented attitude, with a focus on meeting and surpassing sales goals
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, such as Salesforce
  • Ability to travel as necessary (typically 1-3 times per quarter)
